As of May 10th this is the information we have gathered regarding four Bed and Breakfast locations in Picton.

Tolita

This is just at the end of Maitland Street and is a separate part of the house. The cost is $125 per night.

Harbour View Suites

There are 2 complete suites available.  They are on the upper floor. These are suites with complete kitchen, living room, etc $100 each suite.  Has a view of the Picton Harbour.

Harrington B&B

This B&B is on the corner of Church and Union.  They have a swimming pool in the fenced in backyard and are within walking distance of Carolyn Demore’s house – basically 2 blocks away.  They are totally booked except for the  weekend of the 20th.  You would probably have to book it this week if you want it.  I think she said there were 3 or 4 rooms and a full.  Breakfast is included.

The king  room is $130 and the other queen rooms are $125.

Very nice people and used to weddings.  Just tell them you are with the Demore/Farrow Wedding.

One Main Street

This B& B is up at the far entrance to Picton when you are coming from Bloomfield. As you can see they are the first house on Main Street but are situated back from it. Looks like this could be a very comfortable location in a very large house.  They have 3 rooms available at $120 – $130 with either an ensuite or private bathroom.

These people will do a provisional hold of the rooms which means if you wish to hold a room, you may do so and if someone else comes along who would like the room, you have first choice of the booking.

As of May 8th, The Sportsman Motel has 6 rooms with double beds and 3 rooms with single beds still available.

The woman who runs it has been doing so for 27 years, line dries the bedding, second floor rooms are accessible from the back so there are no stairs to climb and have balconies for a view of the bay. The rooms are clean and low price.
